Information Platform Landscape Science

The working group "Information Platform Landscape Research" was constituted in 2007. The working group provides landscape researchers the “Knowledge Collection for Landscape Science - openLandscapes“. The Wiki of this web-based platform is designed to enable both, established and new landscape researchers, to give orientation in the highly dynamic, but not yet clearly definable, scientific research field.

Bei openLandscapes is a "living" information portal with open access approach. This means that users are particularly involved in both, the fast upload of information as well as in quality assurance. The input as well as the testing and development of content are largely realized by interested users.
